Welcome

The building was whitewashed cement walls.  The walls had ivy growing everywhere in natural light.  I'm not sure where it came in the building.  In the middle was a statue of 2 figures dancing.    It was literally Jack and Sally from Nightmare before Christmas.  They were also covered in ivy plus I had noticed some cobwebs.  There were some large niche like areas that could have been doorways if they didn't have thick layers of spiderwebs.  Appearing from nowhere was a man from work.  He tried to clear away the cobwebs so that he could go use this door.  He ended up with a large spider on his hand.  He came at me with it and as I held my arm up in front of me, he wiped it on me.  It was on my arm.  I knew this spider but it was about 10 x bigger than they normally are.  I woke up and felt afraid but not the same fear that I feel in real life.  It was as if fear was an idea in my head but not something I was actually feeling.  

Later after writing down my dream, I also started to paint the spider.  Around the same time I had learned about the seed of life design and I was led to use it as the web.  Obviously not the whole design but the spider is making the web and there so there is time to create.  

When I was painting and thinking about the dream, the fear was on my mind.  Through the mediation that happens while creating art, fear is something that I was able to clear from my life.  At the time I was more than a year into shadow work.  Cleaning up my trauma and self judgments was the direction of my life at the time.  

I infused this painting with the energy of facing my fears and letting go of the unnecessary feeling.  May it bring you the same. 

The earth, Mother Gaia gives life to all other living things.  Our gratitude for what she offers continues to grow as it is well deserved.  Her offerings of beauty, nutrients, and inspiring come backs are not small feats.  They often WOW us and motivate us to elevate our mindset and actions to show greater respect to ourselves and others as well as her, our mother earth.

Personally I have let my power go.  After an abusive relationship and finally finding the strength and courage to move on, I started to rebuild my life.  But what was that supposed to look like?  I had no idea.  Slowly but surely I started to realize that I didn't need to give up all of who I was and that I could find myself again.  That is the energy with this little fire spider.  He recognizes the energy of the lightning and welcomes his power back home.
